If your shower head is clogged with built-up mineral deposits in the water, it may need a thorough cleansing. Instead of reaching for harsh chemicals which may damage your shower head, follow these steps to clean your shower head.
Buy some distilled white vinegar and a zip-lock plastic bag.
Pour enough vinegar into the zip-lock plastic bag to submerge the shower head. A sandwich sized bag works well for most shower heads. Pull the bag over the shower head and zip it closed around the shower pipe. If needed, wrap a rubber band around the bag to keep it from slipping off. Leave the bag on overnight. The next morning the shower head will be as clean as new.
